At the Kenan Foundation Asia, we empower youth across Southeast Asia with the knowledge, technology, and skills necessary to succeed in a rapidly changing world. Kenan Foundation Asia drives inclusive economic growth by equipping micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in Thailand and across ASEAN with the skills, tools, and networks to succeed. Mekong Green Skills Accelerator.
Kenan Foundation Asia’s Mekong Green Skills Accelerator empowers the next generation to lead sustainable futures by transforming education systems across Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos. Through innovative, project-based learning, we equip teachers and students with green growth mindsets, circular economy skills, and real-world knowledge in energy conservation, waste management, and climate resilience. By training 2,000+ educators and reaching over 500,000 students by 2030, the initiative aims to build a future-ready workforce prepared to thrive in the emerging green economy—while driving meaningful, community-centered climate action across the region.
