Strengthening STEM Education and TVET Across Thailand
Enjoy Science was a USD 30 million, five-year public-private partnership implemented by Kenan Foundation Asia with support from Chevron. From 2015 to 2020, the project strengthened STEM education and technical and vocational education and training (TVET) across Thailand, helping students, teachers, workers, and industry prepare for a more technology-driven economy.
Enjoy Science demonstrated Kenan’s strength as an impact-driven capacity builder: connecting schools, vocational colleges, industry, government, and communities to create practical education solutions at national scale. The project continues to inform Kenan’s work in STEM education, future-ready TVET, teacher development, and workforce readiness across Southeast Asia.

Change Starts in the STEM Classroom
For the children of Thailand, secondary school is a formative time when they can explore their interests before choosing a field for further study. That’s why the first priority of the Enjoy Science team was to teach STEM skills at this critical phase in their schooling, when they benefit from it most. An education in STEM broadens their horizons and opens the door to a lifetime of opportunity, appreciation, and enrichment.
